ACHE Student Chapter
The MDCHS ACHE Student Chapter is an organization for undergraduate and
graduate students with an interest in healthcare administration and management.
Through seminars and networking opportunities, members will be able to gain
insights and diverse perspectives from healthcare leaders from a variety of settings.
ACHE student members will also take advantage of professional development,
service and social events aimed at improving health and advancing the profession of healthcare management.
The American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) is a professional society comprised of healthcare leaders, who are committed to improving healthcare. The ACHE’s mission has been “advancing leaders and the field of healthcare management excellence.”
With more than 48,000 members across the globe, the ACHE serves as a network of healthcare leaders, dedicated to making healthcare safer, more accessible, and more affordable to all while advancing equity, quality, and efficiency in health.
As a member of the MDCHS ACHE Student Chapter, you will have access to fresh insights and diverse perspectives and opportunities for collaboration with healthcare leaders, from a variety of settings, committed to transforming healthcare.
The MDCHS ACHE Student Chapter will hold its first general body meeting of the spring semester on Fri., Jan. 7 at 7pm eastern time online via Zoom.

Those interested in running for office must be prepared to meet the following requirements:
1.For Chapter President and Vice President, you must be a student associate
member of the ACHE in good standing and a graduate level GPA within the
Murphy Deming College of Health Sciences of at least 3.00.
2. For Secretary, Engagement Officer and Events Officer, you can be either a
Mary Baldwin Undergraduate student with at least at 2.00 GPA or a Murphy
Deming Graduate level student with at least a 3.00 GPA.
3. Self-nominations with the reasons of your interest in a leadership position
within the Club should be submitted to email@example.com at or
before January 14, 2022.
4. Candidate information and an electronic voting document will be submitted
to those students who have expressed in participation, either as a club leader
or club member.
5. Election results are tentatively targeted for final review and announcement
on January 31, 2022.
